We had so many questions on how to care for our new cactus friends, as well as other succulents we already had, but we had a difficult time finding consistent information.
So, with all of the information we collected on the way, we decided to start this site to hopefully be a helpful resource and guide for anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation, or for anyone who’s just curious about these amazing plants!
Hi, this is Danny and Bethany (husband and wife). We started All Things Cactus as a resource for everything cactus and succulent related. Living in Southern California, and having grown up in Arizona, we’re surrounded by these amazing plants.
When we decided to overhaul the landscaping at our home in Los Angeles, we were inspired by the native desert plants in our area (and the several road trips to Palm Springs) and chose to go with drought tolerant vegetation.
